Crocodile began as a family company back in 1991 in response to a growing demand for innovative and versatile industrial packaging solutions. To this day Crocodile remains entirely family owned and run and the goal of providing high quality sophisticated packaging solutions that add genuine value to clients has not changed.

Crocodile has a truly global outreach, with manufacturing partners in China, Germany and the USA. But the key to Crocodile’s success is its commitment to quality, which is why all aspects of the business from design to manufacturing, right through to the way our products are despatched is managed under the same roof at our Swindon plant. By controlling every aspect of the business Crocodile ensures that only the best products and customer service are delivered.

Crocodile does not sell from a catalogue or have stocks of standard size crates. All our products are individually developed to specifically fulfil clients’ needs. We will visit prospective customers, gather information and listen to their requirements in order to gauge exactly what is required from their packaging provider. We will then propose a solution based around these needs and present to our customers for approval or feedback.

Unique system

Crocodile’s unique clip system means that packaging can be easily flat packed, stored and re-used, which dramatically cuts customers’ total shipping costs and provides a sustainable, environmentally friendly way to ship goods around the world.

Our aim after winning a new customer is to deliver a first class but cost-effective solution which provides an outstanding performance. Our wish from then onwards is to continue supplying the customer every time they need packaging.

This requires a genuine commitment to quality control together with customer service of the highest quality. We aim to provide this as a minimum requirement with every transaction, every time and thus never lose a customer. This can only happen if a company is made up of individuals that share this goal. Crocodile is very proud to have such staff.

The Crocodile factory.

Crocodile’s factory is situated on the outskirts of Swindon and is easily accessible from junction 15 of the M4 – about a 5-minute drive. The location enables easy road transport access to London and the South East, South Wales via the M4, ports at Southampton, Portsmouth and Bristol as well as access to the Midlands and North via the M5.

The factory consists of a main production hall of approx. 30,000 square feet with a despatch area, raw material storage, maintenance area and machining shop. There is also considerable yard space available for material movement, offcut management and further storage. There is a secondary unit on site which is configured to specialist bespoke production lines, and Crocodile’s offices are situated next to the factory.
